Liontrust Asset Management has announced a quartet of in-house managers will take over the management of two Guernsey-based funds run by Jeremy Lang who will leave the firm next month.
Gary West and James Inglis-Jones will manage the Liontrust Dynamic Income fund and Anthony Cross and Julian Fosh will manage the Liontrust First Equity fund from 25 March 2009.
Canada Life has hired David Gregory to head its Institutional Relationships Team and Anne Slater-Brooks to lead its Strategic Accounts Team.
Gregory will be responsible for building and developing relationships with wealth managers having joined Canada Life in 2002. He previously worked as a senior broker consultant at Sun Life.
Slater-Brooks will support and promote Canada Life's offerings for national IFAs having worked in strategic accounts and as an account manager at the firm. She has also worked as an account manager at UNUM and Royal & Sun Alliance.
Mercer's investment consulting business has hired Jeff Crispin as a principal of its Sentinel Group- a global consulting unit specialising in assessing investment operations, implementation and governance.
He joins Mercer Sentinel to head up the European business development team, having previously been director of institutional business development at Thomas Murray.
