Clydesdale Bank International has opened its newest bank in Guernsey. The company has recently established new offices on the island and has a seven-strong team headed by managing director James Blower.
Trust group the Basel Group has expanded its Jersey operation with the acquisition of Experta Trust Services Jersey.
While Experta operations will be moved to the Basel premises, services will be maintained and all Experta staff will join the Basel team.
Legal & General Investment Management (LGIM) has appointed Hugh Cutler as head of distribution where he will develop the business strategy in the UK and overseas.
Cutler joins LGIM from Barclays Global Investors where he was co-head of the global strategic solutions group. Prior to this, he worked at Towers Perrin as an actuarial associate.
Insparo Asset Management has hired Jon Laidlow as chief operating officer. He will work alongside the firm's founders, Mohammed Hanif and Francis Beddington.
Laidlow joins Insparo from quantitative hedge fund manager GSA Capital Partners where he was finance director.
