Scottish Widows Investment Partnership (SWIP) has appointed Rod Davidson as its global head of fixed income.
Reporting to Andrew November, chief investment officer for fixed income and property, Davidson will be responsible for expanding SWIP’s fixed income offering with a focus on bond products, primarily for international markets. He has over 15 years experience in international bond markets, most recently as global head of fixed income at Aberdeen Asset Management. He will also have overall responsibility for the investment performance of all SWIP’s fixed income products, currently valued at £47bn.
