HSBC Investments is now offering the HSBC GIF Bric Markets Equity fund for UK investors.
It aims to outperform the MSCI Bric index over the longer term through a combination of country allocation, stock selection and exposure management. The fund contains between 70 and 120 stocks. Sinopia uses quantitative analysis to select stock positions, which looks at a company’s earnings momentum.
Country allocations can be 10% more or less than the equivalent weightings in the MSCI Bric Market Cap Weighted index.
The minimum investment is $5,000. The initial charge on the retail share class is 5.54% and the annual management fee is 1.5%. IFAs are offered 3% initial commission and 0.5% trail commission.
