GAM has launched an Asian equity fund.
The Dublin domiciled product, managed by GAM’s investment director Michael Lai has a minimum investment of £6,000. The initial fee is up to 5% and the annual management charge is 1.5%. Lai said: “Asian markets remain quite immature and we will use a top down macroeconomic analysis to understand the dynamics of each market. We will look at opportunities and barriers to growth, with a particular focus on the major catalysts of change. A bottom up fundamental company analysis will also form the basis of stock selection.”
