Friends Provident is to launch a wrap platform, which will include offshore products in its range over the next 12 months.
The platform will be a wealth management service for high net worth individuals.
Christine Foyster, head of international marketing at the group, said: "There will be six to 12 distribution partners on the platform offering investors a range of products with varying risk profiles.
"They will include offshore bonds and funds as well as onshore products such as Sipps, Isas and cash accounts. All products will be able to be bought and sold online and intermediaries will be able to track the progress of funds on the platform as well as look at asset allocation models for investors and change existing portfolios."
Friends Provident decided to launch the wrap platform following the success of its existing onshore e-commerce product, E-Select.
Foyster said this vehicle showed intermediaries wanted to use online technology to buy products for their clients.
