Inter-Alliance International (IAI) and Inter-Alliance WorldNet (IAW) have recruited their second business development director as the firms seek to increase the number of advisers.
Steve O'Leary, formerly head of the Dubai branch of Towry Law International, is based at IAI and IAW's head office in Cyprus. His recruitment follows that of Lance Fraser in February, who formerly worked for Finexco.
Brian Cosgrave, managing director of IAI, said the two directors will be primarily focused on recruiting advisers for both the IFA firm, IAI, and the network, IAW. "We are working out how they will split responsibilities between them. It will not be done on a territorial basis, although Lance will look after Africa. They will also help out on marketing and training. Once Lance and Steve have settled in we can return to expansion again next year."
