Zurich International Life has added a total of 20 new funds to its open architecture International Wealth Account and mirror fund ranges.
There is a climate change and natural resources bias to the additions, which also include three Islamic funds on the mirror funds side.
All the funds are available to investors in the UK and the Middle East, with all but one also available in Singapore, and 11 accessible by investors in Hong Kong.
The full list of additions to both the IWA and mirror fund ranges is ABN Amro Asian Tigers, ABN Amro Energy, ABN Amro Materials, BlackRock Global Funds Global Government Bond (dollar and euro versions), Insight Investment Global Diversified Return (dollar and euro versions), JF 5 Elements, JPMorgan Global Capital Preservation (dollar and euro versions), JPMorgan Global Natural Resources, Morgan Stanley FX Alpha Plus RC 400, Morgan Stanley FX Alpha Plus RC 800 and Schroder Global Climate Change Equity.
The new IWA funds also include Fidelity Multi Manager Sicav Natural Resources and HSBC Bric Market Equity, while the extra additions to the mirror fund range are HSBC Amanah Americas Equity, HSBC Amanah Asia Pacific Equity and HSBC Amanah Pan European Equity.
The additions are in response to ZIL's recent quarterly fund review. CEO Paul Quirk said the review was focused on themes likely to provide positive investment returns during periods of volatility in global equity markets.
He added: "As an international life company we have a long-established responsibility to provide investors with access to fund ranges that reflect current investment opportunities, and climate change is no exception."
