Despite a perceived threat from emerging markets, small to medium size (SME) companies in the UK are failing to do anything about it, according to the Eurofactor 2006 Barometre. David Smith, managing director of Eurofactor (UK), an integrated factoring network that offers receivables finance solutions, said UK firms continued to play on a national rather than international playing field, despite concerns over the impact of emerging markets.
