Fidelity International is targeting UK investors with 16 of its Luxembourg-based offshore funds.
The group has added sterling share classes to the vehicles, which consist of 12 equity and four fixed interest portfolios. The group already has in excess of 30 UK-based Oeics and unit trusts and five investment trusts.
Richard Wastcoat, managing director at Fidelity International said: "Part of the trend of the UK market has seen groups offering a greater choice via Luxembourg funds. This is evident with the IMA now moving to include these in its sales figures."
The initial charges on the funds are 5.25% for equity and 3.5% for bond portfolios, inline with the group's onshore products. Up to 3% initial commission is also available. The annual fee on the 16 portfolios varies from 0.75% to 1.5%. Minimum investment is £1,500 or £50 on the monthly savings plan.
