Isle of Man based Fairbairn Private Bank has updated its technology to try and increase demand for its discretionary portfolio management service.
The bank has signed a contract with Rhyme Systems, a provider of asset management solutions, for rhymeSight Back Office, a multi-currency, multi-company investment management and accounting system.
It provides functionality to support investment instruments, including performance measurement, dealing and settlement. Features also include facilities to maintain and update customer information and enquiry and query tools.
Greg Horton, managing director of Fairbairn, said: "We signed up to rhymeSight Back Office in order to respond to the rapid increase in demand for our discretionary portfolio management service.
"It allows us to cater for new and existing customers' increasing requirements, such as performance measurement. By building on our existing IT infrastructure we are able to continue providing clients with the very high levels of service for which we are already well-known."
