Royal Skandia's new business increased by 56% to £78m during the first half 2004 versus the same period last year. Markets continue to stabilise with the strongest growth coming from the UK, Far East and Middle East. Nick Poyntz-Wright, managing director of the UK Group attributes the growth to its support from intermediaries.
