Austrian bank Raiffeisen Zentralbank (RZB) has opened an office in Jersey, from which it will distribute seven of its Vienna-based funds. Richard Buchanan, manager of the Jersey office, said: "The listing of the funds will give Jersey-based investment advisers access to a range of investment opportunities in Central and Eastern European markets. These types of portfolios are not that well represented locally and will add e5bn to the total value of funds listed in the jurisdiction."
