This year's Ashburton investment conference, in Jersey, includes former South African President FW De Klerk, and former UK Chancellor of the Exchequer, Kenneth Clarke. In a departure from previous events, this year's conference, on 16 November, will be in the form of a debate. The theme is on whether democratic politics is derailing globalisation.
