Latest Guernsey finance industry figures from Guernsey Financial Services Commission show the funds and banking sectors have reached new highs, according to Peter Niven, chief executive of Guernsey Finance. He said the Guernsey Funds industry passed an important milestone with funds under management reaching £100bn, representing a 9.1% increase on the quarter and a 36% year-on-year increase. Strong results were also seen by the banking sector where bank deposits reached £87.48bn - up 4.6% on the quarter and 14.6% on the year.
