The prestigious Standard & Poor's European Fund Awards ceremony took place during a gala dinner following the International Investment European forum in Frankfurt. The aim of the awards is to identify those fund groups who maintain both expertise and consistency across the largest and most competitive European markets.
The most sought-after award is for best overall group, after which companies are divided according to size labelled 'larger groups' and 'specialist groups', each with awards for one, three and five years. There was also a series of awards given out to those managers who dominated the various S&P's sectors. Here is the comprehensive list of the winners and runners up.
