Friends Provident International (FPI) has added funds to its mirror range that cover six different geographical regions.
The six includes portfolios from Martin Currie, Allianz Dresdner, Franklin Templeton, Aberdeen and Merrill Lynch. Regions covered include the UK, Asia, Europe, India, Latin America and Japan.
The FPIL Martin Currie GF UK Growth fund invests in a mixture of large and small UK caps where the potential for growth exceeds that of the FTSE All-Share as a whole.
There are three portfolios that will cover the Asian region: the FPIL Dresdner RCM Oriental Income fund, FPIL Aberdeen International India Opportunities fund and the MLIIF Japan Opportunities fund.
To invest in Latin America FPI has chosen the Templeton Latin America fund, which aims to provide long-term capital appreciation by investing in firms incorporated or having their principal business activities in the Latin America region.
FPI has also chosen the FPIL Franklin Mutual European fund, which provides capital appreciation by investing in equities of companies incorporated or having their principal business activities in European countries.
