Mark Pollard has been appointed managing director of European equities at Putnam Investments and will be the first European equities manager to be based in London. He rejoins Putnam from Jura Capital, where he was one of the founding partners. In his new role he will be responsible for all European fundamental equity research and analysis. He is the first portfolio manager for European equities to be based in London rather than at Putnam's head office in Boston.
