Bupa International has won a contract to provide a bespoke international health insurance product for the majority of Shell's expatriate employees and their dependants. It has also teamed up with United Arab Emirates (UAE) health insurer Oman Insurance Company (OIC) and will sell products through its sales force and network of brokers. In the UAE, OIC will become the local insurer for Bupa, and Bupa will continue to provide customer services and get support from its offices in the UK.
