As much as 40% of trustees have insufficient knowledge of pension law and almost a third have serious weaknesses in their knowledge of fund management, according to pre-launch pilot results of the Alexander Forbes' new Trustee Knowledge and Understanding (TKU) self-assessment test.
The TKU self-assessment test is a free service designed to identify gaps in trustees' knowledge and to enable training programmes to be tailored to meet a trustee's specific needs. Trustees complete a questionnaire and Alexander Forbes analyses the results and provides a complete TKU Healthcheck.
