Lia/Sofia merged board members announced

Following the announcement in the UK of the planned merger between the Life Insurance Association (Lia) and the Society of Financial Advisers (Sofa), the new Board has now been decided. Bob Bullivant is executive chairman, Mark Ommanney is chief executive, Andrew Clarke director of finance and John Ellis director of public affairs. Non-executive directors of Sofa are Robert Reid, Brian Steeples, Gill Cardy, Carole Nicholls. Non-executive directors of Lia are David Batchelor, Karl Snowden, Caroline Banks, Peter Williams. Directors from CII are Dr Alexander Scott and Peter Martin.
