Due to regulatory changes, Friends Provident International (FPI) will now offer all product literature in Iceland in Icelandic. According to Sian Warren, international marketing manager at Friends Provident International, insurance companies are now required to provide all marketing literature in Icelandic by the local regulator. She explained this was so investors would have greater protection and a better understanding of the products bought. FPI currently sells a savings plan as well as a term assurance product in Iceland.
