Jersey-based Close Asset Management is yet to ann-ounce replacement managers for its All Weather fund following the defection of four managers to Rathbone Investment Management later this year.
A spokeswoman for Close said it had identified the managers, who were internal appointments, but it would notify clients and regulators before making an announcement.
The departing managers - Peter Paturel, Vaughan Rimeur, Phil Bain and Tim Ford - are responsible for both the investment strategy and management of a range of segregated domestic and international portfolios, unitised products and multi-manager funds for private clients, trustees and intermediaries at Close.
Andrew Henton, deputy chief executive of Close Wealth Management Group, said there are managers within the company with the relevant expertise, so the departures would not have a big impact on the business. The first of the managers is expected to join Rathbones in October.
