Credit Suisse's Bill Mott is delaying his planned retirement following the departure of fund manager Errol Francis who is to join Schroders. Mott will resume his advisory role on the £1.1bn Income, £377m Monthly Income and £127m Alpha Income vehicles, just a week after announcing his retirement. Meanwhile, Francis, who inherited the funds from Leigh Harrison a year ago, will team up with Schroders' UK equity head Richard Buxton. At Credit Suisse, in the interim, small and mid-cap growth specialist Crispin Finn is now managing £1.6bn worth of income funds.
