Chris Chambers has resigned his roles as Man Investments' chief executive and Man Group's director, effective as of 31 August.
Man Group declined to comment on specific reasons for his departure, but said Chambers would be replaced by the head of marketing and client services at Man Investments, John Morrison.
Chambers will work through the hand-over period, the length of which is to be determined. He is on 12 months' notice from Man Investments. The departure was a mutual decision, according to a source close to the company, with both sides feeling it was time for a change.
Chambers joined Man Investments as chief executive in March 2002, and was appointed director in August the following year.
