Jump, who will remain a board member of Axa Rosenberg in London, is becoming head of technology and production. Vanstone joined the group nearly three years ago and has been head of European marketing and sales. Vanstone will work with Agustin Sevilla, chief investment officer of Axa Rosenberg in London, and Pascale Demont, who has been promoted to chief operating officer.

He was head of European rates strategy at Barclays Capital. Allan Lane has been recruited from Royal Bank of Scotland as European head of the fixed income investment technology and analytics team. Sebastien Guglietta has moved from Barep Asset Management to become senior portfolio manager in charge of interest rate and volatility strategies.

Andrew Finch is to head Collins Stewart's stockbroking and investment management company's Isle of Man business. Bates and Phillips, who have been at SGAM since it was launched in 1997, were previously joint heads of the retail business with specific responsibility for marketing and sales respectively. While they will continue to be involved in the retail business in their new roles, they will now also have ultimate responsibility for marketing and sales for the institutional side of the business.

Prior to that, he was a director of EFG Private Bank with a portfolio of UK and international clients for more than nine years. Watkins was previously a director of Riggs Bank's international private banking arm where he developed marketing initiatives. Sood qualified as a chartered accountant with KPMG. She has spent the past five years as a UK senior relationship manager at Schroders Private Bank.
