Threadneedle's Pan European Accelerando Fund has received an A new fund rating from Standard & Poor's Fund Services. The fund is managed by Phil Cliff, who joined Threadneedle in 2001 as one of its new generation of fund managers. The fund was launched on 12 July 2004. It is the second of the Accelerando funds, which are highly concentrated on 20 to 30 stock portfolios and have UCITS 3 powers that allow them to hold cash as an investment when needed.
