Franklin Templeton Investments has launched three Sicav funds within its Luxembourg-domiciled Franklin Templeton Investment Funds range.
The funds are the Templeton Global Absolute Return (USD) fund, the Franklin Strategic Income fund and Franklin Natural Resources fund.
The Templeton Global Absolute Return (USD) fund is aimed at clients looking for a specific return over a cash benchmark and willing to accept a controlled level of risk.
The Franklin Strategic Income fund invests in the global fixed income universe, fixed and floating rate and investment and non-investment grade rated instruments, including bank loans, municipal bonds, and floating rate/inflation linked securities. The majority of the portfolio will normally be invested in USD securities.
The Franklin Natural Resources fund invests in equity and debt securities in established and emerging markets in the global natural resources sector.
The minimum investment is US$5,000. The initial charge for the Franklin Natural Resources fund is 5% and the annual management charge (AMC) is 1.5%. The initial charge for the Franklin Strategic Income fund is 3% and the AMC is 1.25%. The initial charge for the Templeton Global Absolute Return fund is 3% and the AMC is 1%.
