James Gledhill has taken on the role of head of fixed income at New Star Asset Management following the departure of Theo Zemek. Gledhill and Zemek both joined New Star from M&G, where Zemek was also head of fixed income. She will take on the role of global head of fixed income at Axa Investment Managers in March. Zemek was the lead manager on the New Star Fixed Interest and Managed Distribution funds.
