Clyde Mascoll, president of the democratic labour opposition in Barbados, has promised Barbadians $210 million worth of tax cuts over the first five years of a DLP administration. This would include income and corporate tax, land and property taxes as well as VAT. It is hoped that releasing $210m back into the wider economy will give the country the jolt it needs.
