Bank Of Ireland (IOM), in conjunction with Bristol & West International, based in Guernsey, has launched the Silver Anniversary bond to mark the bank's 25th anniversary on the Isle of Man.
This is a fixed term, five-year bond, tracking four major global stock market indices (FTSE 100, Nikkei 225, DJ Euro Stoxx50 and the S&P 500), with a capital guarantee and early maturity feature.
With the IOM Capital Guarantee, investors will receive all their initial investment, plus a 25% gross return after two-and-a-half years if the four indices grow by an average of 20% or more during that time.
If the above levels of growth are not achieved after this period, a return based on a participation rate of 100% of the performance of the four indices, adjusted by an averaging method, will be paid at the end of the five-year fixed term.
The product, which has a minimum investment of £5,000, is available until 29 September.
