Fortis Guernsey has had to shelve its plan to expand into Jersey after its beleaguered parent was forced to sell the ABN Amro assets it acquired last year. Fortis Guernsey had planned to use the ABN operation in Jersey as its base, but said it still hopes to have a dual Channel Islands presence at some point.
