The Morningstar Investment Conference will be held in London next month, with a line-up of speakers including Fidelity's Anthony Bolton and Blackrock's Keith Anderson.
The event, at the Jumeirah Carlton Tower in Knightsbridge on 19-20 September, is Morningstar's first London event, and adds to its conference programme in the US and European markets. Day one is aimed at the retail market; day two is directed at the institutional side.
Other speakers for the retail programme include Don Phillips, managing director of Morningstar, Nick Cann, chief executive of the Institute of Financial Planning, and asset allocation expert Roger Ibbotson.
Bolton's appearance comes not long before he officially steps down as portfolio manager of Fidelity Special Situations, while Anderson, chief investment officer of fixed income at Blackrock, will give his outlook on the global economy and fixed-income.
Cann will lead a discussion on the future of investment advice in the UK, and Ibbotson will give his outlook for global markets and asset classes.
Phillips, who has been named one of the most influential people on Wall Street, will talk about why a fund's stated performance may not be the best indicator of how it has done for investors.
