Yorkshire Guernsey has launched a two-year Stepped Rate Bond guaranteeing investors fixed interest rates over the next two years.
The bond, targeted at longer-term investors, offers a fixed interest rate of 5.75% in the first year and 6% in the second year. Minimum stake being £10,000.
In addition, Britannia International has launched a further issue of its Optimum Growth Bond for risk-averse investors.
Based on the performance of the FTSE 100 index, the latest issue pays 160% of actual FTSE 100 growth over the maximum six-year term, averaged out over the final 12 months. Two automatic kick-outs are set in motion after two and four years to allow for short-term gains. The bond is available through intermediaries, with a commission of 3%.
