Standard Bank has appointed two new members of staff to help build links with intermediaries in the Middle East and Asia. The South African bank is aiming to boost distribution of its range of offshore products and services to IFAs in both areas. In the Middle East, Dubai-based Veronica O'Brien has joined from Friends Provident International, while Steve Noon, based in the Isle of Man and formerly of Derbyshire Offshore, will target the Asian market.
