HSBC Republic Investments has added a euro and sterling share class to the HSBC Trading AdvantEdge fund.
The Guernsey-domiciled vehicle, created in October 2005, invests in hedge funds that predominantly use commodity trading and managed future strategies. The minimum investment for the euro class is 25,000 and for sterling is £15,000.
Barbara Rupf Bee, chief executive of HSBC Republic Investments, said: "The new share classes will broaden the appeal for the fund and is suitable for investors seeking higher, long-term returns and who can tolerate short-term volatility, which may occur."
The product has an initial charge of up to 3% and an annual fee of 1.75%.
HSBC Republic Investments is a member of the HSBC Group and operates within its private banking group.
