Friends Provident International (FPI) has joined forces with four fund houses to offer advisers microsites of their services.
Invesco, Fidelity International, Investec and Martin Currie will all provide fund information on the dedicated sites, which includes fact sheets, regular fund updates, briefings and presentations.
Paul Quirk, managing director of FPI, said the sites would give advisers greater control and support when selecting and monitoring funds.
Each site is bespoke to the company. For example, the Fidelity site offers investors performance highlights and has the latest investment commentary, while Invesco's provides teleconferences and monthly market round-ups.
Investec has conference call transcripts as well as fund manager research and the Martin Currie site features details on its fund management processes.
Quirk added: "It is fundamental advisers have access to fund information and with these bespoke microsites they have more support than ever before. Microsites are an area on which we intend to build in the future. These sites are a relatively new concept and this will be the first time we have offered them."
