Venture capitalist Octopus Investments has launched a tax planning microsite for advisers to help address clients' needs in the run up to tax year end.
The site will complement the firm's ‘TYE toolkit' which was launched at the end of January, providing advisers with information on investment solutions available to support their clients' tax planning.
The site features case studies and is designed to lead advisers to products that may be suitable to support their client's tax needs.
Octopus managing director Guy Myles said: "We know that the run up to tax year end is the busiest time for advisers, and they have a vast amount of product information and client needs to manage."
Octopus will also be hosting a series of tax planning masterclasses across the UK, highlighting how venture capital trusts (VCTs) and enterprise investment schemes (EIS) can play a role as part of a diversified portfolio of investments.
