AFH Financial Group has announced a number of changes to its board, including the appointment of Paul Wright as chief financial officer.
Law firm Eversheds' senior office partner Sue Lewis has additionally been recruited as a non-executive director.
AFH Financial chief executive Alan Hudson said: "We are delighted to announce these changes to the board and believe they will have a positive impact on the company's progression. Paul and Sue join AFH with demonstrable track records in their respective fields."
Finance director John Wheatley has become non-executive chairman following Wright's appointment while non-executive director Toby Denne has been appointed as executive director and chief investment officer.
Hudson said: "Congratulations to Toby, already an established member of the AFH team, on his new role as CIO. We look forward to his contribution moving forward. I would also like to take the opportunity to thank John for his support as finance director since our listing; I am pleased that he will still be involved with our business as Chairman."
AFH Financial recently completed its seventh acquisition since January 2013, with the takeover of Stoke-on-Trent based IFA firm SR Wealth Management.
