Old Mutual to launch multi-asset range for Buxton and fellow managers

Old Mutual Global Investors is to launch a multi-asset range, offering a range of risk and return profiles, in February next year.

The Foundation range will be run by fixed income & macro director Stewart Cowley, head of equities Richard Buxton and head of alternatives Paul Simpson, alongside head of multi-manager John Ventre. The funds will invest across the asset class range, with asset allocation managed by Ventre. Each fund name - Foundation 3, 4 and 5 - will correspond to that portfolios target return over CPI inflation, net of charges. Foundation 3 aims to return CPI +3% over five years, Foundation 4 targets CPI +4% over 7 years while Foundation 5 targets CPI +5% over ten years.
