Architas appoints head of intermediary sales

Axa Wealth's multi-manager arm Architas has appointed former UBS GAM sales director James Bampton as head of intermediary sales.

Bampton will report to head of business development Cedric Bucher in the new role and will head up a new seven strong intermediary distribution team. He most recently spent more than five years as a sales director at UBS Global Asset Management. Prior to this, he was head of advisory sales for Fidelity International.
