Two former regulatory supervisors have been appointed to senior roles at The Consulting Consortium (TCC).
Kevin Parkinson, a former Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and Financial Services Authority (FSA) supervisor of firms across a variety of sectors, and Chris Martin, a former FCA/FSA events supervisor, have joined TCC as regulation consultants to help with the firm's work in conduct risk.
Parkinson initially worked within life and pensions before moving into regulation and compliance. He was involved in the Retail Distribution Review implementation project while at the FCA, as well as in setting up the Arch Cru 404 redress scheme.
Martin was in charge of handling complex risks that had crystalised in regulated firms and sectors while working in the regulator's Complex Events team. He also held responsibility for leading supervisory projects and industry-wide reviews.
At TCC he will be in charge of regulatory consulting assignments, with a particular focus on conduct risk and the impact of the FCA's new assessment framework.
