Attendees to the Institute of Financial Planning's (IFP) Scottish conference will get the chance to hear from Ian Woodall, a British climber who has conquered Mount Everest on several occasions.
Woodall will speak at the full-day event at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Edinburgh on Tuesday 19 November.
Steve Gazzard (pictured), interim chief executive of the IFP, will open the conference, while delegates will also hear from Evan Bruce-Gardyne from Alliance Trust and, in a session providing tips on dealing with the media, journalist Simon Bain.
Other sessions will cover social media strategy, affinity partnerships, ethical investing, IHT and pension allowance cuts.
