A group of paraplanners are launching a free event designed to promote better business ideas.
Paraplanners Jared Bowers, Claire Goodwin, Jo Hague and John Redmond are behind the first Paraplanners Powwow Up North, which will take place on 15 October in Leeds.
The event will adopt a round-table discussion format in which participants can share best practice ideas.
Investment for Life paraplanner Jo Hague said: "Claire Goodwin and I wanted to put together a series of round table discussions where paraplanners could talk about the good, the bad and the ugly of what they do.
"Outsourced paraplanners in particular have an overview of a number of different tools and software that inhouse paraplanners perhaps do not get to see so there is the potential to learn from their experience. "
A similar event scheduled for towards the end of the year will take place in Central London.
Paraplanners Powwow Up North takes place on 15 October at The Chambers Park Place hotel in Leeds.
