Five firms have been named on the shortlist for the Best Platform for Adviser Service gong at next month's Aberdeen UK Platform Awards.
Axa Wealth's Elevate, adviser-launched wrap Nucleus, platform giant Transact, True Potential and Standard Life have been nominated for the award.
It is the first time an award recognising the best propositions for adviser service has been included at the annual Aberdeen UK Platform Awards, which this year will be held at the London Marriott in Grosvenor Square on 8 October.
The award has been launched as part of a drive by Capita Financial Software, in association with Professional Adviser and IFAonline.co.uk, to incorporate into its suite of platform comparison tools something that specifically recognises those propositions that excel at servicing their adviser users.
This is achieved by asking advisers to rank which providers they consider best in a number of categories, including wrapper choice, range of funds and overall service. Advisers selecting which platform or platforms to use for clients can then use the tool to see which proporistions their peers rank best in each category.
The Aberdeen UK Platform Awards were launched in 2006 and are organised by Clive (pictured) and Monica Waller.
