Insurance provider Zurich has appointed a new director in its corporate investments strategy and governance department.
Lillian Goldthwaite has joined the insurer's corporate savings wing after spending 24 years in the financial services industry in institutional asset management and retirement solutions in the US and UK.
Her previous jobs included strategy, proposition development and governance roles for firms including Aviva and Friends Life UK.
She will be reporting to head of corporate propositions Dave Lowe, who said: "Lilian is highly experienced and we are delighted to have someone of her calibre on board."
Goldthwaite will be responsible for setting the strategy, development and management of the UK Life corporate fund proposition in her new role.
She said: "I am thrilled to join Zurich as it is one of the strongest providers of workplace savings solutions in the UK.
"It will be a privilege to build on the strong capability they have already delivered through enhanced investment propositions that help everyday investors to reach their savings goals, while also giving them the confidence and peace of mind which comes with Zurich ensuring their suitability through continuous governance."
