Seven Investment Management has started a programme of bringing solicitors, financial planners and accountants together so they can offer clients a holistic service across generations of families.
Marketing manager Justin Urquhart Stewart (pictured) said he is inviting members of the three professions to "get together in a room" to draw up a co-ordinated plan of what they need to be doing for clients in every decade of their lives.
"Accountants and lawyers need financial planners to help them do their work. We are trying to help open their eyes. Financial planners are the glue that ties the investment bit to the legal bit and the accounting bit."
Urquhart Stewart said the combination approach is especially relevant for business clients.
"Businesses are becoming much more entrepreneurial - they need financial planning and legal work as well as accounting," he said.
