Justin Onuekwusi, lead fund manager on Aviva Investors' multi-asset funds, is to exit the firm.
Onuekwusi (pictured) has been at Aviva Investors since 2010 and was in charge of the five funds in the group's multi-asset range.
His responsibilities will be passed onto his current deputy manager Nick Samouilhan. Peter Fitzgerald, co-head of multi-manager, will join him as co-manager on the range.
A spokesperson for Aviva Investors said: "Peter has 12 years' experience in managing multi-manager and fund of fund portfolios and this change brings together his manager research with Nick's asset allocation skills.
"Multi-asset funds at Aviva Investors have always been managed with a team based investment process with investment decisions being taken by the fund managers based on inputs from the wider multi-asset solutions group of 21 investment professionals. We do not anticipate any changes to the investment process."
Over one year to 5 June Onuekwusi has slightly outperformed his peer group composite return of 16.7%, making 17.1% on his funds, according to FE.
