Fidelity FundsNetwork has appointed Personal Finance Society (PFS) director Jon Everill head of advisory services.
Everill (pictured) has more than 23 years industry experience, during which he has been a successful adviser, established several large financial planning businesses and more recently set up his own consultancy practice ‘ResourceSuite'.
He has also been an active member of the PFS where he is currently a director and was previously the society's president from 2011-12.
Everill will report to Pat Shea, head of FundsNetwork, taking responsibility for the management and development of services, principally focused around helping adviser businesses work more effectively with the platform.
Shea said: "This newly-created role reflects our continued commitment to investing in the business and to providing advisers dedicated support and service.
"Jon has considerable knowledge and experience of working within the UK financial services market, gained from both an adviser and service provider perspective.
"His skills will augment our growing team of specialists and highlights the continued commitment to develop our business for the benefit of our advisory partners.
"We welcome Jon to FundsNetwork, in what is an exciting time for the industry and look forward to working with him."
