Ex-bank advice exec secures £350k IFA software funding

A former Co-op Bank executive has received £350,000 from Enterprise Ventures' North West Fund for Venture Capital to market his new software product for IFAs.

Former operations director of the Co-operative Bank's IFA business Paul Alkins received the investment to bolster his new software Deposit Sense, which allows IFAs to manage their clients' bank accounts and potentially generate a new income. The product has been desigend to enable IFAs to compare interest rates and select and manage accounts, while it also facilitates the spreading of balances across multiple banking providers.
